Occupational Therapy Services (STO) are the alternative within the social services sector for the integration of people with intellectual disabilities who cannot join the ordinary labor market when they are unable to achieve a sufficient level of productivity. These services are designed to offer occupational therapeutic activities that help people with intellectual disabilities develop vocational and social skills. There are two labor assessments within the occupational therapy service: STO with support and without.
These services have two main functions:
The Arc de Sant Martí occupational center was founded in the same year as the first home, in 1981, but it was not until 1992 that it moved to the current building that houses it today, at Carrer Calders number 2 in Moià.
Twenty people work at the occupational center during the week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The activities carried out there are designed to achieve the comprehensive development of each person. Personal adjustment activities such as yoga, music therapy, swimming, cognitive workshops, and outings are performed, complemented by some pre-vocational tasks such as the creation of handcrafted products and other manual assembly work.
The workshop’s line of work is primarily defined by artistic activities. The production of recycled paper (paintings, postcards…), mosaic products (pots, mirrors, boxes…), and jewelry (earrings, necklaces…) are the self-made materials offered for sale.

In September 2023, we opened the El Trencadís occupational workshop, located at Carrer Esperanto number 15 in Moià. This workshop offers us the possibility of expanding the occupational workshop spaces, as all the people we care for can use it, alternating the experience of working in smaller, separate groups, which provides them with more tranquility. In this workshop, personal project activities are carried out, and we also work on areas of knowledge and creativity.

The Tàndem program is a values-based education program centered around people with disabilities, aimed at educational centers. Through specific activities, we create a new perspective among young people toward individuals with intellectual disabilities, normalizing their relationships.
The word Tàndem speaks to us of collaborative work: students work on values of equality, respect for difference, and solidarity, while the person with a disability is simultaneously an active agent in an educational and social program, allowing for better social integration.
